Emergency Preparedness

FEBs are increasingly recognized for their role in preparing their local communities for emergency situations. As such, FEBs strive to create and deliver meaningful Federal emergency response and multi-agency Continuity of Operations (COOP) exercises, and promote established emergency preparedness procedures and protocols to support an interconnected Federal community. FEBs increase emergency preparedness of Federal communities by serving as the hub for information and coordination in their locales, improving continuity of government operations by facilitating planning and coordination among Federal agencies, and ensuring awareness of Federal communities by providing timely and accurate communication of emergency information. Below are some links which provide important information about preparing for and responding to emergency situations.
